Easter Sunday and a quick family session in the park

It was difficult celebrating Easter while my father was still in the hospital but, we tried to make the best of it with a nice relaxing trip to a local park.
My father has been in and out of the hospital for the last 2 years dealing with problems related (they think) to his diverticulitis.  The problem is that every method (surgery, change in diet, pharmaceutical drugs) they try does not seem to work because he ends up right back in the hospital with stomach pains again.  I pray everyday that they will figure something out and he can return to "old Dad" again. :(
I was glad to get the whole family together for a portrait (minus Dad unfortunately) because we have not had one in years.  That will change of course since I have a  remote shutter release now to use.
The following pictures are just a taste of what you can expect from a family portrait session with me (unless you prefer something a little formal even though I tend to shoot in a life style/photo journalistic style of photography).

I am really not sure what was going on with the egg?  It was originally meant for my son...

My favorite even if I couldn't get Grant to look at me (he was past nap time at this point).  Unfortunately we only had so many minutes that day...

I need to add more family portraits to my portfolio so, please let me know if you are interested in a small portrait, generational or even to commemorate a large family reunion.
