About

Hello and welcome to my photography Blog-site.
I have been married to my amazing and supportive husband for 4 years and a little over a year ago we were blessed with a crazy little boy who you will probably see quite a bit of on here.  I am one of the lucky few who gets to do what I love every day by teaching art/digital media at a local high school for approximately 4 years.

I have always had a love for Photography ever since I was little, taking pictures on my first camera (remember 110 film cameras!) of my family and whatever else caught my eye.  Rarely did I not have my camera with me.  Since that first camera I have had an off and on relationship with photography: from learning how to use an SLR film camera during college/developing my own photos in the darkroom to trying to push my first little point-and-shoot to it's limit and back to photography as an art form when I got my hands on a digital SLR through the digital media courses I teach.  When I had my son it dawned on me after a not so pleasant experience at a photography studio that I should take his portraits myself.  That idea has involved into me trying to slowly when I find time to (who ever has time right!) launch my own photography business to give my clients that creative experience I craved a reasonable price.

I shoot in a lifestyle/photo journalistic style and prefer to capture moments rather than "pose" my clients.  My portraits are meant to be a fun and memorable.  During the spring and summer I usually shoot on location using natural light and I am slowly putting together a studio for the winter.

Stay tuned to my blog to watch me grow as an artist and please contact me by using the information below if you are interested in a photographer or graphic artist...  :)
